On November 26, 2005 Patricia appeared on HGTV's hit show "Landscape Smart" hosted by Paul Ghiringhelli. Each episode of this weekly series focuses on a single landscaping project, completed by everyday homeowners with the help of landscaping and design professionals.

In this episode Patricia was called in as a guest mural expert to show the homeowner how to paint a scene on a backyard fence, step by step.  The mural needed to be simple enough so that the do-it-yourselfer could use the techniques and yet not be overwhelmed by details. The mural depicted a north woods lake vista adding character to the retreat.
